Hourly hotel with parking in Barcelona: where to park

Arriving by car can make a short visit easier, but it adds decisions outside the room booking: where to leave the vehicle, how long it will stay there and how you will get back to it. If you have luggage or are combining a car journey with public transport, decide who will keep the keys and how you will coordinate arrival. A little planning avoids a last-minute scramble when the stay ends.

Plan the arrival using two addresses

Imagine arriving by car on a Saturday and parking before checking in: save ASTA at Sant Hermenegild 12–14 as the first stop, then Padua 83. If someone drops you at the hotel before taking the car to the car park, reverse the order. Your route has both legs; check the return to the car before choosing a departure time.

One person may drive in from outside Barcelona while another comes by public transport after work. The driver can take care of parking while the other heads straight to the hotel. Agree on one meeting point and share an arrival estimate; if it changes, let the person waiting know. Each person can arrange a different route while keeping the arrival coordinated.

Check the condition for the free hour

The first parking hour is free only with a hotel booking of at least two hours; a one-hour stay does not qualify. After that first hour, ASTA charges its regular rate for the remaining parking time. Check the current tariff with ASTA directly; this guide does not set parking prices.

Budget room time and parking time separately

Room time and parking time do not match. If you book the room from noon to 2 p.m. and leave the car from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., that is two room hours and three parking hours: half an hour before check-in, two during the stay and half an hour after checkout. Under the condition above, one parking hour is covered and the other two are charged at ASTA’s regular rate. Note when you will collect the vehicle, not only when you leave the room, and allow time to gather your things and return to the car. If someone drops the group at the hotel before parking, count from the car’s entry to ASTA until you collect it.

Ask for confirmation for your arrival time

When enquiring, give the date, arrival time, room duration, number of people and say you will arrive by car. The enquiry alone does not confirm a room; wait for the hotel’s reply and check ASTA’s current parking terms separately.
