Your first hourly hotel stay: the questions that can be hard to ask
First stay at an hourly hotel: which details the request needs, when it is accepted, and how to work out the price. We also explain privacy and what to check before arranging your visit.
Before requesting an hourly room, it helps to know what details to prepare and what kind of reply to expect. These practical points can help you plan the visit and its cost.
What details do I need to request a room?
To submit a booking request, provide the exact date, your arrival time, the duration, your name, and your email address. These details let the team assess the specific stay you are asking for; decide how long you want to book before you write.
If you are only comparing dates, you can send a general enquiry. Once your schedule is settled, submit a booking request with the exact details; this keeps an initial question distinct from a defined request.
Casita Amarilla is at Padua 83 in Sant Gervasi, Barcelona. It has eight identical double rooms, each with a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, climate control, and a TV; every guest must be at least 18.
When is a booking confirmed?
Sending a request does not by itself reserve a room: it is confirmed only when the team explicitly and positively accepts it in a reply.
A reply asking you to clarify a detail leaves the enquiry open. If the team suggests a different time, make sure that option works for you before arranging your journey; you do not need to interpret an ambiguous reply on your own.
Does a private room guarantee anonymity?
A private bathroom offers privacy inside the room, but that is not the same as anonymity. Anonymous bookings, or a guarantee that no identification will be requested, are not promised.
Before setting out, ask which valid identity document the hotel accepts. You do not need to share intimate details to ask about ID.
What does it cost, and what else should I check?
The usual two-hour rate is €43 and includes two people. Each additional person costs €15 per person per hour: for three people over two hours, the total is €43 + (€15 × 2) = €73. This separates the room price from the charge for the third person.
The form includes a three-hour option. An additional hour costs €10 and depends on availability; if you may need it, mention that in your enquiry so the team can assess that duration.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed. Check the current opening hours before setting out, since they vary by day and around public-holiday eves. You can also check the website’s current rates if you want to compare a stay other than the two-hour example.
